Industrial sourcing and implementation for Afghanistan

Galvanized Roofing-Sheet Roll-Forming Line

A small cold-roll-forming line converting purchased GI, PPGI or PPGL coils into one corrugated roofing and wall-sheet profile through coil receiving and coating inspection, rated decoiling, entry guiding and optional leveling, progressive multi-stand roll forming, encoded length measurement, flying or stop hydraulic cutting, run-out support, sheet stacking, dimensional and coating inspection, bundling and dry dispatch. It does not galvanize, paint or manufacture steel coil.

Production line and factory setup overview

A small cold-roll-forming line converting purchased GI, PPGI or PPGL coils into one corrugated roofing and wall-sheet profile through coil receiving and coating inspection, rated decoiling, entry guiding and optional leveling, progressive multi-stand roll forming, encoded length measurement, flying or stop hydraulic cutting, run-out support, sheet stacking, dimensional and coating inspection, bundling and dry dispatch. It does not galvanize, paint or manufacture steel coil.

Recommended lowest-entry line configuration Launch one locally accepted corrugated profile and one coil-width/thickness window, for example 0.35-0.60 mm GI/PPGI, after contractor confirmation. Specify a rated 5 t decoiler with hold-down and brake, entry guide, 16-18 forming stands, guarded chain/gear drive, PLC/encoder, hydraulic post-cut matched to the profile, 6-12 m run-out tables, sheet gauges and manual stacking. Add a hydraulic coil car, leveler and automatic stacker only when coil weights and volume justify them.

8-20 m/minentry forming speed
0.35-0.60 mmlaunch thickness
1 profilestarter roller set
4-7entry workforce

Production process and implementation sequence

  1. Coil receiving, grade/coating and damage inspection
  2. Rated coil loading and controlled decoiling
  3. Entry guiding and optional leveling
  4. Progressive corrugation through forming stands
  5. Encoder length measurement
  6. Hydraulic profile cutting
  7. Supported run-out and sheet stacking
  8. Profile, length, coating and bundle release

Products, capacity and market fit

  • Afghan warehouses, shops, homes and factories consume corrugated roofing and cladding sheets.
  • Imported coated coil can be converted locally to exact project lengths with less transport damage and scrap.
  • One accepted profile avoids incompatible overlaps and excess roller-tooling inventory.
  • Coil grade, coating, roll geometry and cut length determine roof watertightness and warranty.
  • Corrugated galvanized roofing sheet - One profile drawing, coil grade/coating, base-metal thickness, effective cover width, length and tolerance - Homes, shops, warehouses and industrial buildings
  • Prepainted roofing/cladding sheet - Separate colour, paint system, coating mass and handling/warranty approval - Commercial and architectural projects
